Verify work order specifications match the drawing

First-Article Inspection
Measure first piece against all critical dimensions
Check surface finish requirements
Verify thread gauges (if applicable)
Confirm visual appearance meets standards
Document first-article results with measurements
Get supervisor approval before starting production run
In-Process Quality Checks
Sample inspection at regular intervals (every Nth part)
Visual inspection for defects, burrs, or damage
Dimensional check on critical features
Monitor machine parameters (speed, feed, temperature)
Log any deviations or adjustments made
Verify part marking and identification
Final Inspection
100% visual inspection or statistical sampling per plan
Verify quantity matches work order
Final dimensional verification on critical features
Check packaging and labeling requirements
Confirm all documentation is complete
Sign off on inspection report and release for shipping
